  2. Cold Symptoms • Sore throat • Hacking cough • Stuffy nose • Sneezing • Mild to moderate chest discomfort • Slight aches and pains • Mild weakness

  3. Flu Symptoms • Sudden onset of symptoms • High fever (101 or higher) • Extreme exhaustion • Severe body aches • Prominent headache • Nonproductive cough (can be severe) • Chest discomfort • Tiredness & weakness lasting 2-3 weeks • Sometimes stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat

  4. How to Stay Healthy Wash Your Hands!!!

  5. Get Plenty of Rest Go to bed on time!!

  6. Eat your Fruits & Vegetables Give your immune system a boost!!!

  7. Get Your Exercise Run and Play and Have FUN!

  8. Eat Breakfast EVERY Day Give your body fuel for the day!

  9. No time for breakfast?? • How long does it take to peel a banana or open a yogurt cup?

  10. Drink Water Stay hydrated!

  11. Don’t Touch Your Face • Germs invade your body through your eyes, nose and mouth!

  12. Do Not Share Drinks!! Drinking after another person lets their germs in your mouth! They may not seem sick, but they could be coming down with something and pass it to you before they even know they are getting sick.

  13. Get Your Flu Shot Get a flu shot if you are brave… or flu mist – if you don’t care for needles, this is a nasal spray!

  14. Stop the Spread of Colds & Flu Cover your coughs and sneezes, then wash your hands.
