Phil Lovin Takes Great Pride in His Success in Varied Fields Attaining success is not a matter of luck; it needs taking the time to learn a trade, applying your knowledge, & sticking with it even in the face of adversity & potential failure along the way, says Phil Lovin who has proved his competency in a variety of fields. He worked with REAP NYC as the Chief Chaplin and Volunteer Coordinator for the last three years, tried his hand in the field of business, worked in executive management in a retail company for a few years, and served as a missionary in The Philippines and Kenya. Phil Lovin is a well-educated professional with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degree in Psychology, a Doctorate degree in theology and in ministry (seminary), and special education in counseling. Talking about his current professional endeavors, Phil is actively working in the area of addiction recovery and ministry, animal advocacy, and senior citizen advocacy. Being passionate about helping people overcome addiction, he has restored the lives of several individuals struggling with addiction through his dedicated service. He has made a

  2. difference in the lives of animals as well through his involvement with a number of local and International organizations working towards animal welfare. The five freedoms of animals that he fights for are: 1.Freedom from Hunger and Thirst 2.Freedom to Express Normal Behavior 3.Freedom from Fear and Distress 4.Freedom from Discomfort 5.Freedom from Pain, Injury or Disease Phil Lovin also works in the field of senior citizen advocacy that involves providing assistance to the elderly with household chores, preparing meals, accessing educational opportunities, dealing with health issues, etc. In free time, Lovin enjoys cooking, hiking, reading about and visiting sites related to the American Revolution, collecting handmade art from the mountains, traveling, and exploring historical places.
