  19. The Secretariat The Secretariat performs technical, analytical and other work in the field of science teaching and scientific research at the University and its members, as well as technical, analytical and other activities in the area inter-university and international cooperation, management protocol. Secretariat is organizing meetings and sessions of university bodies, symposia and conferences, and it is responsible for the publishing industry at the University, as well as work in the field of planning, reconstruction and development of the University. Monitor and enforce laws, regulations, general acts, decisions, contracts, after the elections in the profession, personnel and personnel affairs, labour affairs, IT and communication, etc. Secretariat has following departments: ⃝ Legal and General Affairs, ⃝ Information and publishing department and library, ⃝ Accounting and financial department, ⃝ International relations, ⃝ Student Centre. www.unmo.ba

  20. Library University library of Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar was founded on November 27, 1980. For the last three decades it functions according to the professional demands and standards on libraries.It represents a very important information centre for the entire University. All library holdings, about 22 000 monographic publications, 5 000 copies of diploma papers, MA thesis and PhD dissertations as well as many magazines in languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as in foreign languages are filed according to UDC system and the users have it in hard copies as well as in online catalogues. The library is a full member of Virtual Library and COBISS service. Students as well as teaching staff can also use, free of charge EBSCOHOST databases.  biblioteka@unmo.ba

  21. Student Union Student Union of Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar is an independent nongovernmental student organization with an aim to help students in their activities and to protect students’ rights. Student Union is a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation Student Association, as well as of the European Student Organization. Student Union activities include publishing of students magazine, activities in newly established „Volunteer centre” in cooperation with Student Union of the „University of Mostar”, as well as different humanitarian and sports activities – indoor soccer league, basketball, and table-tennis league. www.unijamo.ba

International Relation Office Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar cooperates on an international level with Universities in the region and Europe, international and scientific institutions, university associations and foundations. International Relations Office coordinates all cooperation activities. Dzemal Bijedic University has signed bilateral and multilateral Cooperation Agreements with Universities in Spain, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovak Republic, Finland, Austria, Macedonia, Egypt, Norway. international@unmo.ba

  23. Career Center Career centre helps students to explore their options regarding their career choice and to develop skills for finding a job by using our resources. Centre has an educational, advisory role and it serves as a link between University, students and potential employers. career@unmo.ba

  24. Student Center Students Centre DzemalBijedic University of Mostar provides services of rendering food and accommodation to students. Students’ Dormitory of DzemalBijedic University of Mostar comprises of three pavilions of former military camp and they are located in the existing University Campus. Male students’ dormitory provides services to 57 students while female dormitory has a capacity for 26 students. The rooms are double bedrooms, three bedrooms and four bedrooms with joint toilets. Free wireless internet access is available in all rooms and pavilions of the Students’ Centre. Students that are using the services of the Dormitory can also use modern multimedia centre and they are the members of nongovernmental students’ organization – Association of occupants of Students’ dormitory.

  25. Doctoral studies There are no doctoral studies according to Bologna process at “Dzemal Bijedic” University. We are in a thinking about it, and we prepaired working group with goal to prepare university level rules for doctoral studies. We still have an old system of doctoral disertation (articles 63. – 88. Statue. Note: approx. 70 doctoral diplomas awarded in period 2000. – 2011.) This year our faculties started introducing master studies first time (check on www.unmo.ba). There are some ideas of joint doctoral studies at the level of faculties of mechanical engeneering in all B&H, etc.
