This study explores the hypothesis that younger generations use smartphones more than personal computers. Conducted at Best Buy in Stillwater, the survey included responses from 30 customers aged 14 to 63, revealing a clear trend. Most younger participants favored smartphones, while many older individuals preferred personal computers. Interestingly, several neutral responses emerged across different age groups. Overall, the findings support the hypothesis that younger generations predominantly utilize smartphones over personal computers, while older generations maintain a preference for traditional computing.

Hypothesis Younger generations use a smart phone more than a personal computer.
Distribution I went to Best Buy in Stillwater and randomly selected customers that wanted to partake in my survey. There was a total of 21 females and 9 males that completed the survey. Their ages ranged from 14 years of age to 63 years of age, giving me a wide variety.
From the bar graph in the previous slide, it shows you that most of the younger generation agreed that they would use a smart phone over a personal computer. Helping to prove my hypothesis: Younger generations use a smart phone more than a personal computer. It also shows that many of the older generations would still choose a personal computer over a smart phone. Surprisingly, there was quite a few neutral answers from a variety of ages.
