Moving tips from Atlas Canada Ensure that your clients are aware of the policies around moving dangerous goods Visit Atlas Canada > Personnel Screening Many everyday items are classified as dangerous goods such as: Propane, Disinfectants, Matches, Adhesives, Batteries, etc. By law, household goods movers cannot transport dangerous goods on the moving van. It is the shippers responsibility to properly dispose of all dangerous goods prior to the move at a local hazardous waste station or take in the car with them.
