  1. If you thought that it was impossible to do your gymnastics at home, then it’s time to think again. There are certain exercises that you can practise at the comfort of your home. Whether you are new to gymnastics or you are already enrolled in a little girl gymnastics program and want to quick learn through some of the techniques these home based skills can help you to get there. Spider-man against the wall The handstand is one of the most basic gymnastic skills that you might need to learn in the kids gymnastics classes. This is the basic skill for more advanced skills like cartwheels, back-handsprings, front-handsprings and round-offs. So, how can you practise the handstand position from your home? Choose a comfortable place in your home nearby a wall. Keep both your hands on the floor and gently run your legs through the wall one after the other. When your legs are fully stretched, slowly move your hands closer to the wall until your belly touches the wall. This is the handstand position; remain in this position for as long as you can. Sprints Sprints can help you to be successful while you are working on your vaults. You can’t get that perfect acrobatic skill on the vault unless you are running fast. If you want to do a great vault, they are quick and powerful, they come as a result of your quick sprint. So, practise your sprint in an outdoor area, and run as fast as you can for a short distance. Splits The splits improve your flexibility while you are practising at home. The split shape is common in gymnastics clubs for kids, and occurs quite often during your leaps and jumps. Once you master your splits on the ground you can then practise them during your leaps in the air.

  2. Pull-ups Another handy exercise that can be helpful during your gymnastic training is the pull-up bar. You can install a pull-up bar on one of the doorways in your home. A pull-up bar is a great piece of home based gymnastic equipment Scales Scales helps to increase your balance, strength and flexibility. If you are not sure what a scale is, stand in an upright position and lift the other leg in front of you for a front scale, and do the same backwards for a back scale. Jumps Practise your jumps at home to improve them. Keep your body tight and jump as high as possible and maintain your body position. You can practise these exercises in an open gym for kids. Become a gymnastic expert while you practise some of these exercises at your home. For more information visit us: http://www.impactgymaz.com/
