  3. What are our objectives? Development of novel instruments to support public-private partnerships

  4. Organise a « web-based innovation market » • Organise and support a network of technology transfer and/or innovation agencies. • ….

  6. How will we proceed? 1. Establish a list of key-contact persons concerning Pathogenomic related technology transfer 2. Organise a first « kick-off » meeting with PathoGenomics Innovation Partners (first PIP- meeting, end of November 2005, Paris)

  7. Writing of a Strategy Paper, which will be diffused to an enlarged network and integration of feed-back. 4. Discussion with a) Industry and b) scientists (wp3), and integration of comments in Strategy Paper

  8. 5. SMEs/industry meeting on IPR and innovation issues (FEMS meeting in July 2006 Madrid?) 6. Web-market place for innovations (guidelines for input and use) (link with central resource centre wp3?) 7. Follow-up of the PIP-network

  9. « Kick-Off » meeting, Pasteur Institute, Paris • One Technology Transfer representative/country • Specificities of each technology transfer situation (country, institution, university,….) • Identify the gaps in the existing Technology Transfer chain

  10. Put them into the context of « Pathogenomics » e.g. * How did the « –omics » change the tech world and what are the specific problems? * What are the market specificities, (scientists, society)?
