In 2011, IMI conducted over 120 supplier audits, marking the beginning of an ongoing process to enhance compliance and responsible sourcing in 2012. This commitment includes the implementation of improvement plans for suppliers and the strategic exit from relationships with those who fail to meet our rigorous standards. Regular risk evaluations ensure adherence to responsible business practices. IMI is dedicated to environmental protection, employee health and safety, and eradicating slavery and human trafficking from our supply chain. We are proud signatories of the UN Global Compact on human rights.

As a result, • We have insisted on supplier improvement plans and, where appropriate, we have exited from relationships with a number of suppliers who were not able to meet our strict responsible business requirements. • We routinely evaluate the risk of each supplier on responsible business and train our auditors to evaluate suppliers. • We are totally committed to the protection of the environment, the health and safety of suppliers employees and ensuring our supply chain is free from slavery and human trafficking. • IMI has also signed up to the United Nations Global Compact on the protection of human rights.
