Tameside General Hospital, located in Ashton-under-Lyne, just 8 miles east of Manchester, serves a diverse population of over 250,000 from the industrial areas of Tameside and the rural community of Glossop. Our state-of-the-art facilities include a new theatre suite, fully refurbished emergency and children’s departments, and a dedicated medical education department.
