Using and Reserving Space

  2. Available Spaces • SAI Managed Spaces: • Turlington Plaza • Plaza of the Americas • Special Meeting Request • Classrooms • RecSports Fields • Residence Life • Reitz Union • Other

  3. SAI Managed Space • Complete the Event Submission (Permit) • Reservations for SAI space are made during the permitting process • Contact SAI directly for special reservations in JWRU 300 (SAI suite)

  4. Classrooms • All requests are made online through the Registrar. • No reservations are confirmed until after add/drop to allow classes to move around. • Reservations can only be made one semester at a time.

  5. RecSports • Spaces are reserved through the permitting process. • Links will take you to a calendar to check for availability. • Dance rehearsals and sport club practices are “general meetings” and do not need a permit. • Contact RecSports directly

Event Services at the Reitz Union • Who should I contact? • General Questions: Event Services, 119 JWRU eventservices@union.ufl.edu or 352-392-1645 • Large Events: Katie Rogers, Event Services Coordinator katier@union.ufl.edu or 352-392-4757 • Steps to reserving space at the Reitz Union: • Go to www.union.ufl.edu/eventservices and Review JWRU’s Terms and Conditions • President must complete the Authorized Contact Form • Click on Room Request Form • Create an account (Allow 24 business hours for activation) • My Account > Log in > Reservations > Student Organization Request Form When logged in clients can view the history of requests, cancel events, and check future room availability.
