SCTP Nat Support

This document discusses the current status of SCTP NAT support and invites feedback from the working group. Michael Tuexen has agreed to provide input based on recent research from his lab. The implementation of SCTP is available in FreeBSD, although further testing is needed on my part. Additionally, an update on SCTP ECN status is provided, highlighting areas related to multi-homing that require clarification and updates. The goal is to prepare this for consideration as a working group item after necessary revisions.

  4. Status • Written in response to requests at Maastricht. • After writing re-implemented it in FreeBSD implementation (as part of some Data-Center Congestion Control work I was doing http://www.freebsd.org/~rrs/dc_cc.pdf). • Found several area’s specific to Multi-homing that the current text does not address .. i.e. I need to update this to describe these caveat's I have discovered (Bundling requirement, additional procedures to handle multi-homing properly). • After a re-spin I think it could be adopted as a WG item to complete…
