Enhancing Sustainability: MnTAP's Summer Intern Project Initiative

The Minnesota Technical Assistance Program (MnTAP) at the University of Minnesota is offering funding for six summer intern projects aimed at waste reduction and cost savings for local businesses. Each project has an estimated client cost-share of $2,500 and provides 536 hours of technical assistance. Criteria for project selection include potential for waste reduction, applicability to other Minnesota businesses, and company commitment. Since 2006, MnTAP has facilitated impressive measurable impacts, leading to significant reductions in waste and resource use.
