  2. Matthew 6:33 • (NIV) But seekfirst His kingdomand His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. • (KJV) But seekye first the kingdomof God, and Hisrighteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

  3. Definitions… (Merriam Webster’s Dictionary) • Seek: To try to discover, to try to acquire or gain, to make an attempt • Kingdom: (a) A politically organized community or major territorial unit having monarchical form of government headed by a king or queen. (b)The eternal kingship of God (c) The realm in which God’s will is fulfilled.

  4. Definitions… • Righteousness: (a) Acting in accordance with divine or moral law free from guilt or sin. (b) Morally right or justifiable.

  5. What precious thing are you searching for? • Wealth? • Fame? • Power? • Happiness? • Love? • Contentment? “Man was created to rule things; and not to pursue things.” Myles Munroe

  6. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 • First things should come first. • We shouldn’t expect God to do His part if we are not willing to do our part. • There is always a consequence to each of our choices in life.

  7. John 15:7 • “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you…” • What you ask for will alwaysbe fulfilled as long as you remain in God’s will.

  8. John 15: 14-16 • Vs. 14 “You are my friends if you do what I command…” • We cannot arm-twist God to fit into our agenda!

  9. Psalms 1:1-3 • What are you going to make your priority? Are you ready to pay the cost? • We have a responsibility to choose where we want to stand, walk and sit. • A determined mind is essential to remain on track.

  10. Luke 18:28-30 • If we take care of the kingdom, the King will take care of our affairs- big and small. • Nothing we give up for the kingdom is ever lost!
