Rewind God’s glory • “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” - Romans 3:23 (NIVUK) • “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands” - Psalm 19:1 • … Jesus said, ‘Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?’ - John 11:40 • So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God - 1Corinthians 10:31 • A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God - 1Corinthians 11:7

If he listens, you’ve made a friend. If he won’t listen, take one or two others along so that the presence of witnesses will keep things honest, and try again. If he still won’t listen, tell the church. If he won’t listen to the church, you’ll have to start over from scratch, confront him with the need for repentance, and offer again God’s forgiving love – Matthew 18:15-17 (The Message)

All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: be reconciled to God. God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God – 2Corinthians 5:17-21 (NIVUK)
