This range comes in almost any veneer and has the option of having raised and fielded panels or flat panels with many bespoke beading options. N311 in stained walnut For a more contemporary look, many of our customers have taken the option of flat beading rather than the traditional moulded beading. All doors are available in any standard imperial or metric sizes and bespoke sizes up to 2400mm by 1000mm. Available as leafs or pre- hung door sets.   46. 77 76 TECHNICAL DETAILS TECHNICAL DETAILS WARDROBE DOORS SWD are introducing a new wardrobe range. As well as our internal door designs, many of these are available as complete bespoke wardobe sets. The wardobe doors can be hinged or sliding and many bespoke configuarations are available for the insides with shelving and drawer systems with soft closers. Bespoke walk in wardrobes can also be manufactured. We have a range of internal laminates available interally or can finish both the wardrobe doors and insides with all our veneers or special stain finishes.   47. 79 78 TECHNICAL DETAILS TECHNICAL DETAILS SLIDING DOORS SWD supply a large variety of sliding systems for wood or glass doors. Whether they are pocket systems or wall mounted we can find a solution to suit you. The sliding systems will work with any of the doors we supply including doubles and syncronised sets.

  48. This diagram shows the basic requirements to install a door set. Ideally you should put in a subframe made of 18-30mm softwood or ply screwed securely to the brickwork. In a new build this enables you to make an accurate opening and be able to plaster up to it. Then you will be able to install these door sets at the last minute after all decoration has been completed. As the diagram shows you should allow 50mm on the width and 30-35mm on the height (from the finished flooring height). E.g. If the door is 762mm, the opening is 762 + 50mm = 812mm. With this subframe in place it allows you to fix the veneered frame in place ideally using corrugated staples using a high powered staple gun. These will be hidden once the architrave is on. Also on the hinge side of the frame replace a hinge screw with one long screw in each of the four hinges. You can also put in longer screws through the striking plate. This method of fixing will leave the frame without any noticeable fixing marks. This simply means that the door is made to your exact specifications and comes pre-finished with the correct frame width to suit your wall thickness. It is already hung on hinges with the locks in place and a matching architrave.
