Rancho Mirage High School, part of Palm Springs USD, fully embraces the AVID program to enhance student engagement and success. Our initiatives focus on collaboration, data-driven practices, and innovative teaching strategies. With an emphasis on Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading (WICOR), we aim to improve attendance, test scores, and college enrollment rates while reducing dropout rates. Through professional development and systemic implementation of AVID, we strive to foster a culture of college readiness and real-world application across all subjects, ensuring every student is equipped for their future.
