Enhancing Technical Assistance for Census Strategies and Capacity Building in the Caribbean

This initiative focuses on delivering comprehensive technical assistance for the implementation of census strategies and the Annual Work Plan (AWP) for 2011. It fosters coordination among regional partners including CARICOM and the OECS. By engaging in south-south cooperation, we support the development of national statistical institutes through direct assistance in consultant identification and equipment procurement. The effort emphasizes quality assurance, independent evaluations, and feedback from countries to bolster data analysis and dissemination, while also providing remote technical assistance and hosting workshops.
