  1. Bateria Solar The world is becoming more aware of the implication of renewable sources for sustainable energy. This transition of power generation towards cleaner, greener, and viable electricity systems is gaining momentum with the introduction of energy storage. Innovation in storage technology allows plenty of options in features that enhance and support the maximum deployment of renewable energy sources. Bateria Solar Bateria solar or solar battery is energy storage for renewable energy systems such as solar and wind. Unlike a car battery, a solar battery is a deep cycle battery that can survive prolonged, repeated, and deep discharges typical to off-grid renewable energy systems. Also, deep cycle solar battery is a crucial component for backup in case of electrical grid failure. Basic Types of Rechargeable Solar Battery 1. Deep cycle, lead-acid battery has gelled and absorbed glass mat (AGM) model that is low maintenance, effective, and cheaper than the lithium-ion battery. The lead-acid battery, however, is toxic that requires proper disposal for safety. 2. The lithium-ion battery is the most common because of its cost-efficient quality to last longer than a lead-acid battery. 3. A redox flow battery is the latest type of rechargeable battery that offers features such as endlessly rechargeable with an unlimited number of cycles. Capacity and Power Rating. Capacity (in kilowatt-hours, kWh) is the amount of electricity that a solar battery can store. Most solar batteries for residential use are stackable (including multiple batteries) to expand capacity. On the other hand, a power rating (in kilowatts, kW) is the amount of electricity a battery can deliver at once. 2. Depth of Discharge (DoD) refers to the amount of the battery's capacity used. DoD is in percent "use," which means a 10kWh of battery with 90 percent DoD has a limit of up to 9 kWh of battery. The higher the DoD, the more is the utilization of the battery's capacity. 3. Round- trip efficiency represents the percentage of the amount of energy used over the amount of energy stored. A higher round-trip efficiency means more economic value out of the battery. 4.
