  2. Oilproducts • Before oil was thick black stuff 5000 years ago it was tiny plants called plankton. the plankton lived in ancient lakes and seas. Most of the crude oil comes from the western provinces. oil is another fossil fuel it was formed 3000 years ago. Oil is found in 18 of the 58 counties in California. We use this fossil fuel for running cars. The type of natural resource is a fossil fuel. And that was some stuff to know. • ; • 0

  3. Moreoil The people who get oil drill into the ground and then they pump the oil using oil rigs. They destroy habitats when they build oil rigs on land and oil platforms in the water. It takes millions of years to renew oil so once you use it all its gone! A way you can help protect this resource is by conserving energy.

  4. Oilandanimals Oil rigs on land can destroy forests and other habitats on land. Oil can also get into oceans then the oil can kill aquatic animals. It is oil platforms that destroy aquatic animals habitats. Oil can kill any type of animals.

  5. Thewaywe’reconnected We use oil for lots of things like cars heat and burners and many others. The way animals and their habitats human communities and oil are connected is oil is in forests and other habitats. Humans use oil for the things listed above and we build oil rigs and that is how we are connected with animals and their habitats and oil.
