The Metropol Cooperation Project fosters cultural engagement among youngsters through various initiatives, such as creative programs designed for children. Ballerup Municipality boasts a rich cultural landscape, featuring local institutions like the cultural centers, libraries, theatres, and sports facilities, which serve over 12,000 inhabitants. With a total annual budget of €12.3 million dedicated to culture, leisure, and libraries, Ballerup has successfully hosted major events, including the World Championship in Taekwondo and the largest children's theater festival, attracting visitors from around the globe.
