Why use an Outdoor Call Point • Latest EN54:11 standard stipluates an ingress rating of IPX3 as suitable for outdoor call points • In real installations this would not be sufficient, consider: - • A product exposed to excessive weather conditions • To ensure the product deals with any weather/outdoor applications a truly ’waterproof’ with IP67 ingress protection must be used • Only a true ’Outdoor’ manual call point with an IP67 rating can be used for such applications

  4. A Truly Modern Design • A modern stylish design provides greater aesthetic appeal. The curved features of the WCP range blend in with today's modern architectural styles. • The new compact design also ensures EN54:11 approval to all European approval body (LPCB, VdS, BOSEC) requirements

  5. Speed up Your Installation • Plug in terminations bring faster wiring and a hassle free first fix option. Simply bring the field wiring to the terminal block. The MCP plugs straight on to the loop. There is less cable to cram into the back box eliminating any chance of damage. The installers cabling time is reduced and a loop continuity device means you can check out all of the wiring with ease.

Speed up Your Installation • 3 x 20mm knockouts in the product mounting box ensures that the outdoor products caters for all surface mounting installation applications • The new WCP housing has an increased area for cabling than our previous World Series IP67 product • The front housing of the outdoor product has a simple ’snap on’ fit to the mounting box. No additional time is required for locating screws.

  7. Improved Maintenance & Higher Integrity • The combined test, reset and lid release facility means only one tool is needed for maintenance. The same tool will also test the existing range of KAC call points so you don't need to carry a variety of different keys. • The new call point, once installed, cannot be tampered with. If the lid of a device is removed without isolation from the panel, the alarm will sound. The lid fixing is also now designed to be more secure. The special MCP tool is needed to release the lid as required in EN54-11.

  8. Flex-Ability • An WCP EN54-11 break glass can quickly become an EN54-11 re-settable WCP. A re-settable WCP can easily be converted back to a break glass. With the new design it only takes a change of operating element. The solution is simple and low cost. So much easier than changing the product or adding springs and additional parts.

  9. Above Standard • The new call points are EN54 compliant in any format. The WCP design is ready to meet specifications for both break glass and re-settable call point options. KAC continue to offer customer branding within the guidelines of EN54-11.

  10. Integrated Design • All components can be housed on a single PCB. An OEM cradle has been designed to offer more surface area than the existing MABC component. In addition, the two-part moulding will provide corrosion protection for the electronics, without the need for conformal coating.
