Discovering the Taiga: Diverse Ecosystem & Animal Adaptations

Explore the unique Taiga, found in Canada, Europe, and Asia, with cold winters and warm summers where birds lay their eggs. Learn how animals cope with the environment through migration, hibernation, or adaptations. Discover the impact of total yearly precipitation and the longer nights due to the earth's tilt. Understand the slower decomposition process and the scarcity of food in the snow. Create your own species like the intriguing Mandrill RhinoBull. Visit the website to see picture evidence and delve into the fascinating world of this forest biome.

  3. More Information on taiga • The total yearly precipitation is 12-33 inches. • Because of the tilt of the earth on its axis you’ll find longer nights on the taiga. • Because of the cool temperature decomposition is slower. • Here is where the taiga is located 

  4. Animal Adaptations • In the snow it’s cold and there is a scarcity of food which makes life very difficult.
