  3. L’ouverture Biography *Believed that God wish slavery to be abolished and had called him to lead Haiti out of enslavement , he engage in the revolt *Age of 33 gained freedom. * Led the Haitian Revolution *Slaves eventually won their independence from the French slave Owners.
