  20. AMOLED將挑戰TFT LCD主流地位 • 如同TFT LCD逐漸取代CRT一般，TFT LCD也遲早會被取代。 • 此一狀況不會立刻發生，而是緩步方式逐漸進行。 雖然TFT LCD繼續在性能、尺寸、價格上不斷進行改善動作，由於先天條件限制，遲早仍會被次世代顯示技術所超越。 AMOLED與TFT LCD同樣可應用於小尺寸至大尺寸，極有可能是TFT LCD後的主流技術。 台灣AMOLED相關發展相對落後，已巨額投資的TFT LCD面板產業面臨不小風險。
