One needs to understand how equally important they are to the country as a whole. They are the niche and the future crusaders of India. RSS Feed But, the children who live on streets, how can they make it big if they do not have the basic means to lead life? With no availability of medical aid and good food, these children suffer mentally and physically. Most of the times, these children get exposed to drugs and they are also sexually and physically abused by anti-socials. This calls for stern actions on protection for the children. Their growth is sabotaged by several unfavourable elements in the society. It is important to provide them day night shelter for street children. This way, these children will receive safe place to be in and stay away from pollution and anti socials. Several people and NGOs are working hard to bring goodness, homeliness and peace to these children. But a phenomenal organization that has gone beyond its comfort zone is Salaam Baalak Trust. Based out of New Delhi, the NGO is a dedicated unit that serves the society. They just don’t restrict to giving shelters but also medical aid for street children. The goal is to give a wholesome life to the children and give them a 180 degree transformation. The primary goals lie on giving good health, good life, good living conditions. The team of SBT is highly experienced, and well aware of the problems associated with the street children. You can be a part of the league and help in moulding these children into good human beings.
