Acts 20:23-24 (Text: NIV) 23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me 24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

  4. Live to the Aim! • “My only aim is to finish the race… • Run to finish, do not quit because quiters never win. • “my country did not send me to just start the race, but to finish the race.” • Finish what you have started!

  5. Complete the task! • Have a clear understanding of the task. • Prioritize the task. • Complete the task… • Remember the task giver… -The task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace

  6. 2 Timothy 4:6-8 6For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. 7I have fought the good fight, I have kept the faith. 8Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, he righteous judge, will award to me on that day – and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
