  1. Understanding the amblyopia treatment in India Amblyopia is a vision development problem that occurs when an eye fails to achieve normal visual acuity. The problem persists even after the use of prescription lenses and contacts. The issue is hence called lazy eye and begins during infancy or childhood. In certain cases, only one eye is affected, and as a result, amblyopia treatment in India may be limited to the same issue. The problem worsens when visual acuity occurs in both eyes. When to seek amblyopia treatment in India? It is important to seek lazy eye treatment in India as soon as possible. The earliest the same is detected and responded to, the problems associated with the same can be reduced to a large extent. A delay in the treatment plan can cause severe visual issues. The problem is not entirely limited to India, with 1.75 percent of the world's population suffering from the same. The prevalence of this issue in Europe is highest at 3.67 percent, yet the nation has a strong amblyopia treatment. Sadly, the situation in the nation has been grim. Amblyopia signs and symptoms The issue is a problem that arises in infant years, and the symptoms may be difficult to discern. A common cause of the issue is strabismus. If you observe that your child has crossed eyes or misalignment in the eye, it is important to seek amblyopia treatment in India immediately. Another way to detect that you have to seek lazy eye treatment in India is that your baby cries or fusses when you cover one eye. It is best to perform the task when the child is watching her favorite show. If she protests against covering one eye instead of another, then it is a sign that there is some issue or presence of amblyopia and blurred vision. Approaching amblyopia treatment The amblyopia treatment plan is based on the underlying cause of the same -  Strabismic amblyopia - In this case, the brain attempts to avoid double vision caused by crossed eyes. Hence, the brain ignores signals from misaligned eyes, and this leads to a lazy eye.  Refractive amblyopia - Here, the problem occurs when there are unequal refractive errors, especially in the two eyes. It happens despite perfect eye alignment due to nearsightedness or farsightedness, or similar issues. The brain relies solely on one eye and leaves out the blurred vision from another.

  2. Deprivation amblyopia - This is caused by obstruction of light due to issues in the eyes like congenital cataracts or anomalies. Immediate treatment is recommended to overcome future problems.  At Sanjeevan, the treatment for the issue mentioned above is designed to help the visual apparatus like the lens, ciliary muscles, retina, etc. to relax. It helps to regain sufficient strength to overcome the problem. The treatment also helps to improve visual acuity and improvement in three-dimensional vision and in-depth perception using conditioning of the optical pathway of the lazy eye. The doctors at the clinic are well trained and work to reverse the issue using vision therapy. It is why it is best to opt for a treatment plan from the doctors the moment you detect the issue. The lack of timely intervention can prove problematic and leads to visual defects, loss of depth perception, and lack of 3D vision.
