  1. Why opt for colour blindness treatment options? A recent study in eastern India reports that 8.73 percent of the males are colour blind, while only 1.69 percent of females suffer from a similar issue. We perceive colors as it hits the back of the eye and the retina carries millions of cells or rods and cones to help you determine the appropriate color you see. The brain does an active part in the recognition of these signals arising due to reflection. Rod cells are sensitive to various light elements, and cone cells are sensitive to the differentiation of colours. Humans have three types of cone cells that can discern different colour and shades. However, for the 300 million people who suffer from the above problem, colour blindness treatment is largely limited to corrective measures. Defining colour deficiency and the effective treatment of colour blindness The treatment of colour blindness becomes a necessity for those who are not able to discern the colours. The issue doesn't impact the vision of the patient or the degree of light that they may see, yet it impacts the effectiveness of the cone cells. The problem is genetically transferred from the mother, yet in specific cases, it may develop over time, with advancing age, diseases like multiple sclerosis or diabetes. The traditional forms of colour blindness treatment in India rely on treating all issues identically. However, research has proven that the colour deficiency may vary -  Red-green colour blindness  Blue-yellow colour blindness  Complete color blindness (is extremely rare) Under medical terminology, these issues are further termed as -  Deuteranomaly - The instances where most common types of red or green colour blindness occur in the subject, and as a result, they see greens with a red shade  Protanomaly - The opposite of the above condition is protanomaly. It makes the patient see red appear more greenish and less bright.  Protanopia and Deuteranopia - In both these conditions, the patient cannot distinguish between reds and greens.  Tritanomaly - It makes a differentiation between blue and green shades quite hard. The same goes for red and yellow.  Tritanopia - It makes it difficult to differentiate between a combination of colours. For instance - green or blue, purple and red, yellow and pink. All colours appear dull.

  2. Complete color blindness - It is termed monochromacy, i.e., the absence of complete colour. It is extremely rare. In this issue, the rods and cones in the retina carry a defect and, as a result, the absence of colours.  Is it possible to reverse or seek colour blindness treatment in India? The alternatives available for colour blindness treatment in India for the past few years were next to none. The patients could wear colour blind glasses, which were tinted to shift colours before they hit the retina. However, these days, the treatment of colour blindness is possible at Sanjeevan. The brand uses special treatment plans to help bring changes at the cellular level. The treatment is carried out by an expert team of doctors with 100 percent success rates in treating the problem. The brand also uses electro- acupuncture as a part of the treatment that has yielded promising results. The treatment is designed to retain the entire visual system and help the same to improve itself and hence boost colour perception and reverse colour blindness.
