Purpose To report to the Portfolio Committee of the Department of Social Development’s response to the High Level Panel on the Assessment of key Legislation and Acceleration of Fundamental Change . Conclusion • The Department has developed action plans to address recommendations by the High Level Panel on the assessment of key Legislations and Accelerations of Fundamental Changes • Some areas have been incorporated in the 19/20 financial year • Other areas will be covered in the next MTSF. • The Department will monitor the implementation of the plan • Provinces are doing their best to render services in line with the key legislations.   49. RECOMMENDATIONS It is recommended that the Portfolio Committee note and consider the Department’s progress towards the implementation of the key findings of the High Level Panel report on the Assessment of key Legislation and Acceleration of Fundamental Change . Portfolio Committee
