  2. God’s Love Romans 5:6-8 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God shows his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

  3. EPHESIANS SAYS 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 1:22, 23 “And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, …”

  4. EPHESIANS continued 4:4, 5 There is one body and one Spirit - just as you were called to one hope when you were called one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.

  5. Eight Certainties in CHRIST’S BODY

  6. 1. SAVED FOR CERTAIN! Eph 1:20 Jesus sat down at the right hand of God “in heavenly places.” Eph 2:6. Christ raised us up and made us sit with him in the heavenly places… A. God's Gift - Grace - Eph. 2:8,9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.

  7. Forgiveness of Past Sins B. Man's Acceptance - Acts 2:38 “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 22:16 And now why are you waiting? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.'

  8. 2. Relationship - covers Continual sins I Jn. 1:7-9 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. Man's part - place, direction, movement God's part - (purifies) cleanses us

  9. 3. Abundant life & Jn. 10:10 Jesus says, I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (abundantly- more than you need) A New Purpose Eph. 2:10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

  10. New Purpose 2 Cor. 5:20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. Gal. 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

  11. 4. Eternity with God Jn. 14:1-6 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.You know the way to the place where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

  12. 5. Free From Wrath Rom. 5:8,9 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! Under Jesus’ Blood or …

  13. 6. End of Fear Psa. 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me 1Jn. 4:17 In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.

  14. NO FEAR in Eternity 1JO 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. “thou art with me”

  15. 7. Contentment Phil. 4:11-13 ... for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. ... I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all things through him who gives me strength.

  16. 8. God Controls Gen. 50:18 His brothers also came and fell down before him, and said, “Behold, we are your servants.” Gen. 50:19 But Joseph said to them, “Fear not, for am I in the place of God? Gen. 50:20 As for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. Gen. 50:21 So do not fear; I will provide for you and your little ones.” Thus he reassured them and comforted them.

Believe Jesus – trust him Jn. 8:32 Repent – Turn around to Jesus’ way Lk. 13:5 Be Baptized (contact with Jesus’ blood) Mk.16:16 Be added to the Body of Christ Eph 5:23 Enjoy certainties others do not have! Decide Now! Life’s confidence is now in Jesus
