  2. Introduction to Book Advance • PantherSoft has a book advance link on the self-service page where students view their Financial Aid. This page allows students who are eligible for the book advance to go to the link and accept the book advance amount offered. • The Book Advance is an institutional loan program designed to provide eligible financial aid recipients with an advance of their financial aid award for the purpose of purchasing books.

  3. How to Accept your Book Advance Loan • Log onto PantherSoft • Enters Panther ID • Enters Password • Click on the “Sign in” button

  4. Click on the “Finances” link

  5. Click on the “Accept/Decline Financial Aid” link.

  6. Click on the “aid year”

  7. Click on the “Financial Aid Book Advance” link

  8. Terms and Agreement will appear.

  9. Terms and Agreement will appear. • Click on either radio button (depending on your need) Type in your initials on the spaces indicated • Click on the “submit” button

  10. Students should print out the “Confirmation Page” for their record.
