  10. Top Three Clusters for Employment in Virginia • Business Management & Administration is the largest cluster by far, employing about 20% of Virginia's workers. This cluster includes some of Virginia's largest occupations, such as General Managers, Management Analysts, Customer Service Representatives, and General Office Clerks. • Hospitality & Tourism employs about ten percent of Virginia Workers and also includes some very large occupations including Fast Food Workers, Waiters & Waitresses, and Janitors & Cleaners. • Marketing employs about the same number of workers as hospitality.It includes Virginia's largest occupation, Retail Sales Workers, and other large ones like Cashiers, and Retail Supervisors.

  34. For the students taking an assessment test, the teacher of the student must be endorsed in at least one assessment in order to give any assessment to their students. Exemption: Workplace Readiness Skills for the Commonwealth Test The test must be proctored by someone other than the teacher of that student.

  35. New Graduation Requirements for Freshmen entering 2013

CTE Credential Beginning with first-time ninth grade students in the 2013-2014 school year, requirements for the standard diploma shall include a requirement to earn a Board-approved career and technical education credential, that could include, but not be limited to, the successful completion of an industry certification, a state licensure examination, a national occupational competency assessment, or the Virginia workplace readiness skills assessment.
