Analyze & understand if you are truly prepared to have a baby - In today’s life, this keeps a lot of importance seeing the framework of current lifestyle that has totally changed – both the partners in marriage are ambitious, so are working and have their own priorities, life goals, etc. Hence, it’s become wise to think and analyze what is the place of children in your life.

  3. Be careful, open and understanding before conceiving a child – What is the place of children in your life? – Understand this question and think about it openly and carefully before you conceive baby. Because, if the baby does not fit in your plan of life it will stay neglected.

  4. To become parents, it needs a lifelong commitment to be fulfilled with determination, compassion and care. So, anything else than your own desire to have a child is not a good reason to have a child. So, Ask yourself a few questions before going for baby.

  5. Question No. 1 Why do you want to have children? – Is it because, you want to extend your family welcoming a cute little new member? OR Because you are married for quite some time, and you feel it is imperative to have children? OR Because you are feeling pressured from your family regarding planning children?

  6. Question No. 2 What is your support system when you have a baby that you can really trust on? - Do you have people at home who can take care of the children? OR Does your workplace provide babysitting or alike facility?

  7. Question No. 3 How would you divide your roles as parents? - Who would be working part time or may be quitting the job? Who would be taking care of the baby during day time? Who would be taking care of the baby during night hours? Who would be doing grocery shopping, who would be handling cooking part?

  8. Question No. 4 Are you ready for the major changes in your lifestyle? - Major changes in your lifestyle may include – To not to be able to spend time with each other as a couple, not to be able to hang out with friends, not to be able to party, socialize, travel, etc.
