Enhancing Medical Education in Italy: The SISM Approach

The Italian Society of Medical Students (SISM), founded in 1970, promotes medical education through innovative projects designed to enhance student learning and clinical experience. With 34 local committees, SISM focuses on problem-based learning via case reports and educational instruments to actively engage students during clerkships. Key initiatives include the creation of an inter-university booklet, securing visibility for SISM, and facilitating connections with clinical realities and young doctors in residency programs.
