  1. HOW TO KILL GERMS WHEN YOU TRAVEL Did you know? Your luggage can come into contact with up to 80 MILLION BACTERIA when traveling? The airplane is also one of the most germ-infested places, with surfaces that are covered with influenza virus, cold viruses, and viruses that could cause diarrhea. We were horrified by the harsh amount of chemicals in mainstream hand sanitizers, so we found the perfect natural alternative! Here’s an easy DIY, all-natural, disinfecting spray that you can bring onboard to sanitize your luggage and dirty surroundings while on the plane. The best part is…. You probably already have all of the ingredients on hand…even if you’re running late for your flight. WHAT YOU NEED WHAT TO DO 1 tbsp witch hazel 2 tsp pure aloe vera gel 2 tsp vitamin E oil 10 drops each: lavender, tea tree, and frankincense essential oils Filtered water Combine witch hazel, aloe, vitamin E oil, and essential oils into a measuring cup. Transfer to a small spray bottle. Add filtered water until the bottle is almost full (nothing over 100mL), leaving some space at the top. Shake well before each use. Cosclusion The tea tree and essential oils included in natural sanitizer are some of the best at destroying harmful bacteria, fungi, and other germs. Witch hazel offers additional bacteria-fighting properties due to its alcohol content and aloe vera also contains germ-killing properties and adds moisture to the skin. Vitamin E oil adds additional moisture and prolongs the shelf life of the product. A spray bottle works the best for easy on-the-go sanitizing that you can throw in your carry on or purse so you can stay germ-free during your whole flight!
