Development of MiWi P2P Network for Data Transmission from Wisdom Stone

This project involves the creation of a peer-to-peer (P2P) network utilizing the MiWi protocol on PC to optimize communication with the Wisdom Stone data storage system. The aim is to develop a user-friendly graphical interface (GUI) that enables seamless data reception and control. The network will support sending and receiving messages that initiate and confirm data transmission between the Wisdom Stone and the PC. Key stages include running the Zena wireless adapter, establishing inter-computer communication, and finalizing the GUI for ease of use.

  1. Project Wisdom StoneNetworking using MiWi Done By: Ahmad Abu rumi & MajdeeZoabi Supervisor: Boaz Mizrachi Project ID: D13111

  2. The purpose of project Building a network based on a MiWiP2P protocol (on the PC) that controls the receipt data stored in the wisdom stone. In addition , building a basic GUI system to allow easy use. Network must support:1) Send a message to the wisdom stone to start the data transmission. 2) Receive data from the wisdom stone and save it on the PC.

  3. Block Diagram Communication based on 2.4GHz : PC GUI Zena USB Driver USB

  4. Block Diagram Communication based on 433MHz : PC GUI Evaluation Board – Explorer 16 PICtail Networking MRF49XA SPI USB USB Driver

  5. Stages of receiving the data The other side send a message that he finished sending The other side begins to transmit the data PC starts to receive and save the data transmitted PC send a message to start connection PC end the connection

  6. Stages of work including schedule 1) running the Zena on PC to understand how it works, and learn to communicate between the computer itself . (four weeks)2) running two Zenasondifferent computers and communicate with each other.(two weeks) 3) Running the protocol on 433MHz ( two weeks ) . 4) communicate with the group which is responsible for transmitting  data to us (Yossi & Amnon).(two weeks ) 5) Build GUI ( 1 week )

  7. The tools that we will use : Zena Wireless Adapter 2.4 GHZ

  8. MRF49XA DAUGHTER BOARD & THE PIC18 EXPLORER BOARD
