Preliminary Study of B0 Decay Vertex Reconstruction Using Hadronic and Semileptonic Modes

This study presents preliminary results on the reconstruction of B0 decay vertices using both hadronic and semileptonic decay modes from 8.9 fb^-1 of data collected at the Upsilon(4S). We investigate the decay chain B0 → D*−l+ν, where D* decays into various final states, including D0 with kaons and pions, and compute the decay time dependence for mixed and unmixed events. Utilizing a likelihood function, we extract tagging dilution parameters. Our findings provide insights into B0 flavor tagging and decay characteristics.
