Our organization has initiated a structured approach to implement 5010 and ICD-10 regulations effectively. We formed a Steering Committee comprising representatives from IT, billing, clinical staff, compliance, and administration to ensure comprehensive oversight. The committee meets bi-weekly to monitor progress and address challenges. Additionally, we established a Program Office to oversee multiple projects focused on training, system upgrades, and testing to prepare our staff and systems for a seamless transition to the new coding standards.
