Technologies used in prototype • CouchDB – a documentorienteddatabase • focused on articles (CouchDBdocs) • HTML/JSON • supports media of alltypes (as attachments) • replication of informationbetweennodes, with faulttolerancemechanism • built-in revisioning • Drupal – portal for users and administrators of the network • access controls • searchinterface • themes
