  2. INTRODUCTION • Working women are already facing up with many problems in both society and home, and they also have a hard time coping with infertility stress. Many kinds of research have proven that the women who experience psychological stress with infertility are similar to women who handling with illnesses such as HIV, cancer, heart attack, and chronic pain. Women who have fertility problems are undergoing risk for anxiety, depression, sexual dysfunction, and decreased self-esteem. These psychological issues can occur despite that is infertile, whether a couple can face male infertility issues or rather your partner faces female infertility, or both male and female have infertility issues or other unexplained causes.

Handing infertility problems is not an easy task, and you have to face social pressure to have babies or feel judgment from family members, relatives, friends, and even strangers. • Some people will advise you or provide you tips which are not totally helpful. • When you are overwhelmed by feelings of failure, emptiness, and inadequacy, you have to overcome the infertility stress all by yourself or with the help of professional infertility doctors.

  4. Before starting the healing process, first, acknowledge your feelings and try to identify the effects which producing you the most stress. • It will help you to build better strategies to overcome these feelings.

Keep moving • Doing regular exercise is good therapy for releasing good endorphins. • Exercise can make you feel more energetic, happy, and make it easier to handle what’s going on in our lives. • Walking is the best option for you to spend more time outdoor, and it is therapeutic and low-impact. • Before your IVF cycle, you can go running, and it helps you to feel good and maintain your shape. And during your IVF cycle, you can better take rest both physically and mentally.

Control your thoughts • During the IVF treatment, people face the mental stress and think about so many unnecessary things, including worry about the expenses, confuse about the treatment process, • often think that the next round will work or not, and think that what will you do if things go wrong or didn’t work out. In addition, when you’re undergoing infertility treatment and seeing others get pregnant and having kids can really make you upset. • When you are taking IVF treatment, you should learn how to control your thoughts and emotions. You have to focus your mind on something else in order to find peace for yourself. • You can also attend some professional sessions to focus on controlling things. It is not necessary to listen to your thoughts all the time, and sometimes, you can just observe them. Meditation is also a good therapy for you to overcome your fears, and doing yoga helps you regulate your thoughts.

Distract yourself • Whether you are currently experiencing an infertility treatment or in the middle of treatment, better turn your focus on various things as much as possible. • You can also distract yourself by developing new hobbies and pampering yourself. • In case if you have failed in your IVF treatments two times, you can better take some time off from the treatment and focus on taking care of your body and mind. • Come out of your room, leave your surroundings, and forget about everything that you were going through. Do exercise, go out with friends, spend time with your lovable ones, and travel more. It will definitely help you to distract yourself from the IVF treatments and worry.

Plan the wait • If you are going through IVF treatment, then you would have definitely known how much stress you are dealing with when you’re doing treatments, including retrieval and injections. • If you’re working women, then you know the pressure of dealing with physical or emotional stress. • When you take time off, plan previously about how you are going to spend your time usefully. Whether you do hobbies or getting together with family and friends, use the time wisely.
