  2. Introduction • I will talking about the well known France explorer, Giovanni da Verrazano in my PowerPoint. I will include why he traveled to North American, the obstacles he faced, the reactions from the Native Americans, and his contributions to NYS. There are three reasons as to why I chose to study this explorer. One reason is life is interesting life. Like, he went on 3 big expeditions. There are New York, London, and Fitzroy Dearborn. Another reason why I chose to study this explorer is because as a child he wanted to go to warmer places and he filled his it. My last reason why I chose this person because he was the only France person who was on the list of the people who traveled to North America.

  3. Obstacles He Faced The reason why he traveled to North America because he was looking he discovered a lots of places .for the North West Passage to China. Also, to search for the water route through North America. Furthermore, to find new land and riches. This is the reason why he traveled to North America.

  5. What did he do when he arrived, and how did the native Americans react? When they arrived he explored the eastern coast of North America to the Carolina’s to new foundland. He used some of Natives to learn about the land. This is what Giovanni da Verrazano does when he arrived at North America.

  6. How did he contribute to NYS History Their Contributions is New Harbor Bay. The next contribution is Island Rhode. The last contribution is Manhattan. These are the contribution Giovanni da Verrazano went on. As you can see, Giovanni da Verrazano does a lot of things during his life time.
