Future Tense

Future Tense. In English we have two forms of the future tense. I will go to school I will be going to school. In German there is only one form so its easy! . To show the future tense in German we use the verb “ werden ” in the 2 nd postion . **Remember SvTOMP (Verb goes second)

  7. Using numerous tenses!Yes you can!  • Ask eachother?? • Wiewar das Wetter gestern? • Wieist das Wetter heute? • Wiewird das Wetter morgensein? war= past tense (Imperfect) ist= present tense wird= future tense

  8. Future Perfect Tense This is similar to the perfect past tense that we already know. Ichhabe Tennis gespielt I have played Tennis To say I will have played Tennis?? werden goes where? 2nd position And what happens to the other verbs??? Go to the end of the sentence

  9. So…. Formula to follow: Subject (werden from) rest of sentence form of verb in past tensehaben/sein IchwerdeTennisgespielthaben
