  1. THE HYDROPONIC FARMING CAN AID YOU GROW QUALITY CROPS Hydroponics is a type of farming where plants are grown in trays or grow beds fed by a constant flow of nutrient solution instead of soil. A hydroponic system refers to all the equipment that is packaged together in order to grow plants using hydroponics. There are six main types of hydroponic systems which include Nutrient Film Technique, Ebb and Flow (Flood and Drain) technique, Aeroponics, Wick Systems, Drip Systems and Deep Water Culture. In all of these systems, the channel that anchors the plants is stationary and provides no nutrients. The nutrients for crop growth come from a uniquely prepared nutrient solution. There are also fusions of these systems that cultivators are coming up with, which are referred to as hybrid systems. METHODS OF GROWING CROPS Another type of hydroponic system that should be mentioned is aquaponics, which combines raising fish and plants in one system. Hydroponic systems can also be further divided into sand culture, gravel culture, water culture, and vermiculaponics. The six types of hydroponic systems work on the same principle: they are a soilless method of growing crops. The most common of these six is the active system of ebb and flow in which the nutrient solution is forced to the roots of the plants that are grown in long, tapered trays that are a little sloped. In this system of tilted trays, gravity recirculates the nutrient solution back to the tank where it is reused by the pump. The entire system then repeatedly recycles throughout the lifespan of the plant.

  2. MAKE A WISE CHOICE The choice of a hydroponic system made by the cultivator eventually depends on their skill level, how much space they have, and whatever they can afford. Hydroponic farmingin Delhi and other metropolitan cities and towns surrounding them have become more common than ever. The rise in environmental disruption and unnatural behaviour of the elements that affect plant crop growth have led farmers and horticulturists from all over to adopt such methods.
