  4. Arepa • An arepa is a bread made of corn • The arepa is a flat, unleavened patty made of cornmeal which can be grilled, baked, or fried

  5. Majarete • Majarete is a corn pudding made with • 1 cup coconut milk • 2 cups milk • 3/4 cups sugar • 3 cinnamon sticks • 2 rings orange rind • 1/2 cup rice flour

Tres Leches • INGREDIENTS: • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour • 1 teaspoon baking powder • 1 cup sugar • 1/3 cup oil • 5 eggs, large • 1 teaspoon plus 1 teaspoon vanilla extract • 1 cup plus 1/2 cup milk • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk • 1 cup plus 3/4 cup heavy cream • 1 tablespoon rum • 1 pinch salt
