Act I-Act III Scene IIISo far… • Three witches tell Macbeth that he will be King and Banquo will be the father of Kings • King Duncan names his son Malcolm as heir to the throne • Lady Macbeth goes to the King’s chambers and puts a drug in the guards’ drinks • Macbeth sees a vision of a dagger as he is guided to the King’s chamber. He kills Duncan. • Lady Macbeth takes the bloody knife back to the King’s chamber and plants it on the guards. • The King is found dead and the guards are blamed
