  1. Frozen Shoulder Pain Treatment at Orthopaedic Clinic in Singapore

  2. The frozen shoulder is a painful condition that causes the shoulder to become stiff and immobile. It usually occurs in middle age and affects both men and women. The symptoms of frozen shoulder include: • Pain • Tightness • Stiffness • Lack of movement of the joint • Limited range of motion at the shoulder • Frozen shoulder in Singapore is caused when muscles surrounding the joint are weakened due to overuse or injury. As a result, it becomes difficult for the affected muscles to contract properly. The pain associated with frozen shoulder is usually located at the front elbow area on either side of your neck but can also be felt on other parts of your body such as your chest or back if you are lying down.

  3. The treatment for frozen shoulder includes physical therapy along with medication prescribed by a doctor depending on your condition. Physical therapy involves strengthening exercises that help reduce pain and restore ROM while medication will help reduce inflammation and relieve pain through muscle relaxants or anti-inflammatory medications.

  4. If you are experiencing severe symptoms due to frozen shoulder, surgery may be recommended in order to alleviate your pain by removing damaged tissue from around the joint so that it can heal naturally without any restrictions or limitations on movement. You can consult about your condition with our Orthopaedic Surgeon at SBF Sports & Hand Centre Schedule your appointment here.
