  3. Architects Le Centre Pompidou was created by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers. Construction began in 1971 and was completed six years later in 1977. It was built to be a center of the French art and culture. Richard Rogers Renzo Piano

  4. Design • Six stories • Height: 42m (138ft) • Surface: 1,000,000 m2 (10,763,910 ft2) • The exterior escalator is called the caterpillar (chenille) • Le Centre Pompidou has its infrastructure exposed • The electric is yellow pipes • The water is green pipes • The air conditioning is blue

  5. Inside le centre pompidou • It has the Musée National d’ArtModerne • The BibliothequèPubliqued’Informations (BPI) • It also houses the Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique (IRCAM)
