  2. Food lovers are there all over the globe. And for most of the food lovers, one of their favorite dishes is turkey. People love it all over and they look to cook it on their own also. Most of the time people prefer cooking it at their home rather than going outside and eating it from a hotel. Very rare people do that. But one of the confusions that the novice cook will always have is as to how to deep fry a turkey? It’s an obvious thing while frying it shouldn’t be overcooked or else it will spoil the taste and it should be cooked on the medium flame so that you can get the perfect taste.

Balance the Temperature Now, for the people who have this query, it is recommended to them that they maintain the temperature of the oil at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and cook a turkey for 3 1/2 minutes per pound, about 45 minutes. Carefully remove the basket from oil, and drain the turkey. Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the thigh; the internal temperature must be 180 degrees F (80 degrees C). Deep-fat turkey fryers are extremely dangerous because they run a high risk of spilling hot oil, tipping over, and overheating; all of which can lead to burns, fires, and other injuries.
