  6. Respiratory care in Brazil Difference between RT and PT In our country, the physical therapists perform the major respiratory care assistance to the patients. Together with the physician, we are responsible to oxygen therapy, to set mechanical ventilation parameters and promote mechanical ventilation weaning. We assist the patient promoting airway clearance, with early mobilization, respiratory muscle training, and others.

Back to Brazil Give lecture in my hospital for all physical therapists; Compare proceeds, protocols, bundles, stategies used here with my hospital; Search for new equipments and new technology to improve assistance in my hospital; Try to change some units routine; Give lectures for my students at respiratory care in the post graduation
