  16. Product Update Filling pressure: • When using a BWT Direct Fill Gun/Link: 20-100 PSI • Recommended fill pressures (into quick connect) 2-25 PSI. Up to 35 PSI can be used if recommendations below are followed. Recommendations: • Avoid pulsating water supply (pump rapidly cycling on and off) • Always remove air from the line before filling

  17. Product Update Filling outside of recommended pressure: • If below 2 PSI: Valves will continue to perform but filling time increases. • If above 25 PSI: Filling time will be reduced. It is possible that the final valve/cell to complete filling may close prematurely.

  19. Filling Flow Rate • Valve String flow rate: Total flow rate depends on number of valves in string, Filling pressure and connection method. Typically 2-3 gallons/Minute at 20 PSI. Many different delivery options can be utilized.

Quality Control Manufacturing is ISO-9001, ISO/TS-16949 certified. • Each component part has a specific molding specification and testing procedure used during manufacture. • Each valve tested for shutoff, flow and mechanical freedom during the assembly process. • Sampling and water testing performed on each box of valves at manufacturing. • Incoming sampling and testing done on each box at BWT. Inventory is in quarantine until released by QC. • Valves visually inspected during kit assembly.

  21. Spark Propagation/Spark Arresting All valves have built in water trap (P Trap) to avoid cell-to-cell vapor transfer/Spark propagation. Valves for electric vehicles have spark arrestor to avoid external spark from involving cell.
